¡¡¡¡Laboratory background:

¡¡¡¡Dr. Gong-she Yang has been engaged in the research of mechanism of swine fat deposition and muscle development for over 20 years. And he also is a domestic well known expert in animal production. In 2003,Laboratory of Animal Fat Deposition and Muscle Development was established by Dr. Yang. At present there are twenty-four Master student, eight Ph.D students and one post-doctor in the lab. Now his team focuses on the following research areas: 1) The mechanism of gene expression regulation during adipocyte proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. 2) Pluripotency, determination and differentiation of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells. 3) The molecular mechanism of myoblast development and muscle fiber type determination.
