Liu Xiaolin, male, Born in April 1961, Chenggu County of Shaanxi, Han Chinese, Communist Party members, Professor of Animal Science, Doctoral Supervisor of Northwest A & F University, Associate Dean of Northwest Animal Science and Technology 2004-2010, National Experimental Animal Science Teaching Center Deputy Director, Deputy Director of National Beef Cattle Improvement Center, Expert services in Shaanxi Province Distinguished Expert Group, China Institute of Animal Genetics and Breeding Veterinary Council member credits.

Research Interests:

Research interests include animal breeding principle and method, animal (livestock and aquatic species) genetic resources. Study in a deep-going way on analysis of genetic variation in animal breeding and genetics and disease resistance in livestock species especially. A primary focus is identification of genes (quantitative trait loci or QTL) contributing to variation in duck, beef and dairy cattle, and Shrimp.
